Lafayette Pigeon Mtn
Don't go very often, but we do especially enjoy some springtime hikes here, like the bluebells along the Pocket Loop. Estelle Mine trail and Rocktown are a couple other spots we get to now and then.

Keown Falls/John's Mtn
We make an occasional trip there; springtime is best if you want to see much water over Keown Falls. But the nearby overlook and John's Mtn overlook on the loop atop the mountain are both nice views.
Pinhoti
The Pihoti Trail wanders for miles through northwest Georgia and we have some folks who live in that area who take us on section hikes there. Usually there is some good ridgeline hiking with nice views.

Rome Berry College Lavendar Mtn
Just ouside Rome, GA, Berry College's huge campus actually stretches to include some gentle mountainous terrain out on its western boundary. Martha Berry's retreat atop Lavendar Mountain makes a great destination, with both nice views and historical significance. There are multiple ways to get there involving bicycle/hiking trails, and there are scenic views of a small reservoir along one of the routes. There's also an old mill with great historical importance that's still operational and very photogenic.

Chickamauga Battlefield
Lots of easy flat hikes here. Pick up a map at the visitors center and plan yourself a loop of some sort. Needless to say, history abounds in the woods and the fields, and it's easy to find yourself imagining what it was like back when the battles were being fought over this very ground.
